May 2020

This month’s RIXML Technology Committee meeting featured updates from the Linkbacks and Standards committees and the ESG and website working groups. Linkbacks Committee chair Patty Lynch provided an update on the strawman being developed for discussion at the next committee meeting, and invited input from interested parties. The ESG Working Group has determined that it will initially focus on the Oil & Gas and Financials industries. The Standards Committee is taking a methodical approach to designing a plan for developing the next major release of the Research standard; in addition to adding new tags to address outstanding enhancement requests, they will also evaluate whether certain tag sets should be removed. Finally, the Website Working Group has completed the planning phase of the overhaul project and will begin making changes to the site in the near future. If you or your firm need more information about any of these initiatives, please contact Executive Director This email address is being protected from spambots. Our Friday Topic Series has concluded; however, we are in the process of making replays of the presentation portion of many of these meetings available.  These videos include the list of questions we would like your input on as we plan for RIXML v3.0, so feel free to watch them and let us know your thoughts - and feel free to share them with your colleagues as well!
